One local cliché is that only people from the Neolithic period are seen the Langlauf trail. We want to extend the life expectancy of these elderly folk and so set out with our emergency kit on a mercy mission.

Cross Country Skiing Report - diagnosis

Place of examination: Olympic region Seefeld, Tirol

Factors examined:

Speed: the need for speed
Anyone who thinks that grey skiers are slow on the snow is very much mistaken. Fit langlauf skiers draw on the strength of the Musculus peronaeus longus. The speed radar gun records unbelievable results.

Zeitgeist: the trail as a skate park
Langlaufen is not a term to make young trendsetters forget their carvers. The contemporary term "ski skating" hits the nail on the head and indicates the double fun factor of this sport - both for the observer who can thoroughly enjoy the amusing movements and for the skier himself who pushes his endorphin production up to tremendous heights.

Age: the secret fount of youth
At first we believed the cliché that all cross-country skiers were grey and old. As a result of this we very nearly sent 700 volts through the body of a young fit male. Our experience showed us that we could have left the defibrillator back at our headquarters - on the trail there are numerous young athletes. The grannies and granddads that we did find were as lively and fit as their own grandchildren.

Findings: racing joy without pollution.
Langlauf is not for the dull and boring. Langlauf has no age limits. Langlaufers live longer. On the trail it's not the HP that counts, but the concentrated Tirolean calf power.
